On behalf of the students and teachers of St Mary's School welcome to our web site.

We are located in a rural area of tea gardens about an hour and a half's drive north of Darjeeling in the Himalayan foothills.

Our website provides an insight into where we are and what the school is trying hard to achieve for the children and their families in our area...........it is not easy!

We are not a 'State' school neither do we receive any government support.

We rely on help otherwise our children would not have the chance of an education.
