Visiting St Marys

If you are travelling to India and would like to visit St Mary's school in Singla you would be very welcome provided that it does not coincide with school holidays or exam times.

Advise on travel arrangements from Darjeeling to the school can also be provided, it is not a difficult journey, a private hire taxi from Darjeeling takes about an hour to reach the school through the beauty of the tea gardens and villages, dramatic views of the Himalayas and the near by state of Sikkim.

If you do visit the school we would kindly ask that you make a donation, advice as to the amount will be suggested when arrangements are made.
